Jehangir Sarosh Zoroastrian Trusts for Europe, President, World Conference of Religions for Peace (Europe Region), and Chair of the Watford Inter Faith Association.
Jehangir is from the Zoroastrian tradition. He has been President of the World Conference of Religions For Peace (WCRP Europe) since 1999. He is also Chairman of the Watford Inter Faith Association and a member of the Executive Committee of the Inter Faith Network. He was a member of the Advisory Committee for the International Interfaith Center and an executive member of the World Congress of Faiths. He is also a patron of the Asha Centre. He is the chairman of the international group of companies the MRJ Group with offices in the UK, India and USA. In 1968 he started his own import and export business. Jehangir was born in India in 1938 and came to the UK by car in 1952. He served in the Royal Air Force before working in the civil aviation industry. Having enjoyed the journey from India to the UK by car so much, he decided to offer similar opportunities to young people and ran a mini bus service to India and back.
