Nick
Stuart is Chief Executive Officer of
CTVC and a television producer. Nick
joined CTVC in November 2002 from the
Flame Group. He specialises in current
affairs and religion but his CV includes
drama documentaries on aliens, observational
documentaries about speedway racing,
the secret life of roadies as well as
reporting for ITV from Northern Ireland
and Israel.
Previously,
Nick was Managing Director of Southern
Flame where he devised and produced
a range of programmes for Channel 4,
Five, Discovery and UK Horizons. Creating
new and exciting ways to bring ethical
and spiritual programming to the screen
led him to revolutionise Five's religious
output with the music magazine show
‘Alpha Zone’ and the ethical
and lifestyle teen debating show ‘The
Big Question’. Other credits include
‘Heart of the Matter’ and
‘Everyman’ for BBC 1, ‘The
God List’ with Jon Snow for Channel
4 and ‘Fighting Hatred’
which gets inside the mind of a former
IRA Commander, for Discovery.
He’s
sports mad, has won numerous awards
for religious broadcasting and been
cited for having the messiest desk in
British broadcasting.
