| Priya
Lukka is Senior Policy Officer (Religion
and Belief) for the Commission for Racial
Equality (CRE).
Before
coming to work for the CRE this year,
Priya has carried out research, evaluations
and consultancies, whilst working at
The Institute for Volunteering Research
and then at The Wellcome Trust. Her
work has involved working on volunteering
projects in Brazil, Lebanon, Russia
and Paris. She has also been part of
teams evaluating large volunteering
initiatives like the Government's Millennium
Volunteers programme and other consultancies
for the Department for International
Development, RNIB and The British Heart
Foundation. This has given her vast
experience in carrying out surveys,
focus groups, interviews and case studies
with a range of social groups.
